Activities

I. Institutions

• The St. Gregory the Great Free Orthodox Faculty of Theology, at the Holy Monastery of St. Seraphim of Sarov, in Pistoia.
   - An educational and research institute for the theological training of clergy and laity, with a three-year program of studies leading to a diploma, recognized by the Italian government, as well as a two-year program of post-graduate studies. Instruction is also offered in the theory and practice of Iconography.
   - Director: His Eminence, Bishop Silvano of Luni.

• The Paul Florensky Intercultural Center.
   - A forum for dialogue with secular culture for the purpose of making Orthodoxy better known.

• The St. Agapitus the Martyr Community for Charitable Assistance, in Pistoia.

II. Publications

• Bishop Silvano has written several books in Italian.
   - Recent publications include:
     1. La Chiesa dei nostri Padri.
     2. Attualità del Simbolo: Una lettura ortodossa del Credo Niceno-Constantinopolitano.
