A Guide to the Contents
1. The first segment, “Administration,” features useful information about the administrative structure of the Holy Synod in Resistance: the Hierarchy, Dioceses, Monasteries, Convents, and Parishes; about those parts of the world in which the Synod is promoting missionary activities: Missionary Communities; about the Sister Churches with which it maintains communion; about recent news: Encyclicals, Synod News ; and finally, in the section Resistance Documents, documents regarding various subjects: Communiqués, Commentaries, Epistles, Responses, and Interviews.
2. The second segment,“Annals,” features all of the news items concerning the activities of the Holy Synod in Resistance throughout the world, archived in chronological sequence.
3. The third segment, “Theology,” features official documents of the Holy Synod in Resistance, as well as documents from other sources (reprints) pertaining to the heresy of ecumenism and to anti-ecumenism (Ecclesiology, Historical Issues ) ; various texts in other areas of theology (Studies); text which deal with Contemporary Challenges; the annual calendar and a variety of hagiographical material (Calendar); spiritually edifying texts (Christian Life); and finally, series of articles and studies (Special Series) of an anniversary or historical nature.
4. The fourth segment, “Publications,” includes the publications of the Holy Synod in Resistance: Periodicals and Books, Homilies and Music as well as Video Presentations.
5. The fifth segment, “Site Info,” contains useful information regarding the website itself: in addition to the present concise Guide, the structure of the contents (Site Map); recent additions to the contents of the website: “New on the Site”; an Index of Russian Texts which can be found on the Website in .pdf format; and advice regarding Technical Assistance.
6. The sixth segment, “Links,” lists the Internet addresses both of the Holy Synod in Resistance and of the Sister Churches with which it maintains communion.
7. The seventh segment, “Search,” provides a means for one to search all of the HTML pages of the site. In the near future, the search engine will also allow one to search the site’s many PDFs.
